22 years of Harry Potter: Facts even potter heads might have missed

When someone says “MAGIC”, The first thought that crosses our mind is Harry Potter.

Harry Potter Series is a set of 7 books, a story about an 11-year-old boy who is special and goes to a Wizarding school to explore the world of magic.
A story about a lot more than just an imaginary school. These books have it all! Friendship, hardships, suffering, but most importantly: Love.

Born on 31st July 1980 in a small town called Godric’s Hollow, Harry’s Full name is Harry James Potter. His parents were killed when he was a baby, by A dark wizard who went by the name of Lord Voldemort. He was then left with his only, and possibly the worst muggle (Non-magic folks) family, the Dursleys.

For 11 years, he grew up away from the Magical world, where he was the most famous boy, where everyone knew his name, where everyone knew: The boy who lived. He then got into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he studied under the finest headmasters Hogwarts had ever had, Albus Dumbledore.

A Gryffindor, whose sigil is a Lion.

He was also able to speak parseltongue which basically means he could talk to snakes. Impressive, right?

He was also one of the youngest students from Hogwarts to conjure a full Patronus, that being said, his Patronus is a Stag, which coincidently was his father’s Patronus too.

He started the Dumbledore’s army with the help of his 2 best friends Hermoine grangers and Ron Weasley.

After 7 long years of hardships, learning, meeting new people, and losing loved ones, Harry finally defeated Lord Voldemort in the battle of Hogwarts.

Talking about the magical books that brought this amazing world to our lives the harry potter books didn’t have an easy journey.

After being rejected by 12 publishing houses, Harry Potter was finally able to see the light of the day on 26th June 1997

Starting out with 500, It went to sell over 450 million copies around the world, more than the combined population of the UK, the USA, and Australia.

With the fame of Harry Potter, J.K.Rowling became the first billionaire author.
