Sunday paint and brunch is a watercolour session initiated in collaboration with @penandoar.

This time it will be facilitated by Dhruva, where you will be helped to do freehand brush movements. Each one of you will create various print patterns in this process.

Do not worry if you have never painted before we will teach you from basics.
They will take care of the materials required in the workshop, so relax!

What if Mirza Ghalib were alive in our times? What would have been the approach of his poetry towards all the things around us? The show talks about the relevancy of Ghalib and his poetry in our times.

This show will be based on the Prakash Gowda book Ghalib Unplugged.

The flow of the show will be as follows.
• Screening a Short Film Based on The Book. (10 mins film)
• Recital of some poems from the book.
• Introduction about the book and discussion about Ghalib in Today’s era.
• Questions and Answer Session with the Guests.
• Some more Poem Recital from the Author.
• Screening of Another Filmfare Nominated Short Film: Main Pal do Pal ka Shayar. (10 mins)
• After Hours Poetry: Inviting from the guests to recite their poems if they have any.

Ankhon Dekhi – Film screening and Exhibition by “The Nomad Cafe”

The Nomad Cafe is excited to host its 50th screening! After 2 years of screening 49 films, they are bringing something very exciting on the table.

The Nomad Cafe is hosting an Exhibition of the film posters it has designed in the past 2 years as a retrospective. The exhibition would be followed by a screening of the film “Ankhon Dekhi” in the presence of the renowned actor/director of the film, Rajat Kapoor. The screening will be followed by Coffee and Conversations with the director regarding the film and regarding film making in general.

This one is one of the most exciting events we have hosted in a long time. As part of the crowdfunding campaign, they have kept the tickets on sale online this time. This event will extend support to The Nomad Cafe to keep its endeavours going.
