Few of the wackiest Guinness World Records

Since 1955, Guinness World Records has pushed human creativity, talent, and skill to its limits and beyond. The collection is home to the strangest and most extraordinary achievements of humankind. While some of the records are inspiring and incredibly significant, others are not so much. From the greatest number of body modifications to the largest collection of teddy bears, we have listed down some of the weirdest and wackiest of records.

April Choi removes her Jenga blocks using a whip – we won’t be challenging her to a game anytime soon. She is the holder of more than two Guinness records.

Most piercings in a lifetime

After her first skin piercing in January 1997, Elaine Davidson was hooked. The Brazilian former restaurant owner has been pierced a total of 4,225 times as of June 8, 2006. The GWR site says she is constantly adding and replacing the jewellery, primarily on her face, but also likes adding tattoos, makeup, and feathers in her hair.

The largest collection of teddy bears

Jackie Miley of South Dakota had just one bear back in 2000. The first bear, named “Grandma Jackie”, is now joined by a verified total of 8,025 teddy bears.

Most big macs consumed in a lifetime

When it comes to the Big Mac, one man is really loving it because he’s eaten 30,000 of them. 64-year-old Don Gorske of Wisconsin has been eating Big Macs for 46 years. Guinness World Records recognized him for ‘Most Big Macs Consumed’ in 2016 after he surpassed the 28,000 mark. He says he only eats two Big Macs a day now.

Largest hairy family

Victor “Larry” Gomez, Gabriel “Danny” Ramos Gomez, Luisa Lilia De Lira Aceves, and Jesus Manuel Fajardo Aceves are four members of a family of 19, spanning five generations in Mexico who all suffer from the rare condition called congenital generalized hypertrichosis. The condition is characterized by excessive facial and torso hair. In women, that means a lighter coat, while men have thick hair on about 98% of their body.

Oldest Male Stripper

Magic Mike had nothing on Bernie Barker. The American (a former real estate agent) got into stripping in 2000 at age 60, as a way to get in shape after overcoming prostate cancer. He won over 40 contests. Unfortunately, he died in 2007 at the age of 66.
