Have you taken the #BottleCapChallenge yet?

Social media has always left us in awe with amazing and thrilling content. Last year we saw kiki challenge, What the fluff challenge and Snoot challenge among others, some of which were too adorable to not lose control. And recently the #BottleCapChallenge is going viral.

Reportedly, it was started on 25th of June by Farabi Davletchin, a Kazakhstani taekwondo instructor who posted a video on his Instagram of him doing the same and tagging Jason Statham, Jackie Chan, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Conor McGregor and used a tag #Farakickschallenge, because he wanted it to be called by this. Watch his video below.

After the celebrities started accepting and posting videos of them performing the same, the challenge went viral and also reached Bollywood when superstar Akshay Kumar and India’s new crush Siddhant Chaturvedi posted their videos, with MC Sher captioning his video with a message,

“Put things back the way you find them.

So what does one do in the Bottle Cap Challenge?

A bottle is placed on a flat surface with its cap loosely put on it and the person is expected to knock off that cap without disturbing the bottle. The cap should fly off and the bottle shouldn’t! Worth calling a challenge right? Celebrities like Max Holloway, John Mayer, Guy Ritchie and Ellie Goulding have tried this and for them, it worked well. Many others are being tagged and are doing a roundhouse kick and after successfully completing the challenge are tagging others…and the chain continues.

While you keep looking at the videos of people doing this, do not be very tempted and try this in one go if you are not habitual of intense exercises or workouts, because otherwise, you might get a cramp and who knows someone would start #iDidThisAndFailed challenge up next!
