The glory of the brave Sikhs of British India has reached Japan. And will soon be on big screens. Yes! After three months when the epic movie on 36th Sikh regiment starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, Kesari has been released in India and the movie is now all set to release in Japan too!
It is definitely a proud moment for all of us, and also the lead actor Akshay Kumar who took to Facebook to spread the news about the Japan release. The movie poster is out now and the release date is 16th August of this year.
Akshay Kumar, who always keeps his fans updated about his movies and other projects, wrote on his Facebook post, “Kesari, a film based on one of the bravest battles ever fought: 21 courageous soldiers against 10,000 invaders, is set to conquer Japan on 16th August 2019!”
The movie, which showed us how bravely the 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 soldiers of Afridi and Orakzai tribe of Afghanistan was released in India on 21st of March this year and made 200+ Crores at the Box office. The battle of Saragrahi is still remembered as one of the bravest battle ever fought in the history of India. And salute to the courage of Indian soldiers who did not give up until their last breath. Truly said that one Sikh is equal to 1.25 lakh people.
Apart from Kesari, earlier Padman, again starring Akshay Kumar as the lead, made an appearance in Chinese and Japanese theatres by the names “IndianPartner” and “Padman: A man who saved 500 million women” respectively. With this Padman became the 10th highest grossing film of Bollywood in 2018.
