What to do if you forget your ID Card while traveling to the airport?

There are few travel nightmares more terrifying than arriving late at the airport and that is arriving without proper identification. If you’re currently freaking out in the departures hall, take a deep breath.
As per the guidelines, it is mandatory to carry Government-issued photo identification (ID) proof along with the E-Ticket for flights in India. The same is verified by the airport security as well as the airline at the check-in counter. The valid photo identification documents allowed are Valid Passport, Driving License, Election Voter Card, Ration Card, Aadhar Card, PAN Card. On presenting your photo ID proof and E-Ticket copy, your boarding pass will be issued. You need to present the original copy of the ID proof.

How can you sign up for DigiLocker?

Signing up for DigiLocker is easy – all you need is your mobile number.
Your mobile number will be authenticated by sending an OTP (one-time-password) followed by selecting a username & password. This will create your DigiLocker account.
After your DigiLocker account is successfully created, you can voluntarily provide your Aadhaar number (issued by UIDAI) to avail additional services.
Now you can travel hassle-free without worrying about carrying or handling your IDs!
